UWA uses MIFARE Classic technology for its student and staff cards. UCC should buy a MIFARE reader/writer to do cool stuff with them. According to Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIFARE 1], Transperth's SmartRider uses these as well. I managed to find one on eBay for $50 but I'm not sure if it's suitable. US $61, about AU$70 with our strong dollar. DavidAdam Looks like some interesting documentation including generic C examples: http://www.nxp.com/products/identification/readers/contactless/ |
