SCISSA is Edith Cowan University's computer club, and an affiliate club to UCC. Unlike UCC, SCISSA has a strong student focus on student representation (similar to CSSC) and has a larger proportion of IT and computer science students than UCC.
Since 2007, UCC and SCISSA have linked IRC servers in an attempt to strengthen inter-club relations and facilitate discussion between club members. Initially, this change was met with varying degrees of disapproval by members of both clubs; fortunately this animosity has largely been forgotten.
