The Characidae, characids or characins are a family of freshwater subtropical and tropical fish, belonging to the order Characiformes. Fish of this family are important as food and also include popular aquarium fish species.

History prior to arriving to UCC

[SJY] got this from a friend, possibly from a road-side pickup. This may have something to do with the numerous borked parts it had.

UCC machine history

Arrived two days after the March 22, 2010 hail storm with a note attached to it requesting that [BOB] didn't rage too hard over having more gear in the clubroom. It got revived some time later with a new HDD, and a beefy graphics card, and has been a reliable gaming box ever since.
