## page was renamed from EmbeddedSystemsENGT2303 This unit is quite interesting, with a good mix of theory and practice. You get a good grounding in microcontrollers and sensors, with useful things like robot movement algorithms explained in the tutes. The labs start out by making your own virtual CPU in a funky circuit modelling program, then move on to EyeBot programming. You may find yourself paired with a Mechatronics student who's never written a line of code before, let alone low level C, although this can be a good thing if you enjoy the unit. If you're interested in robotics, you'd do well to do this course before RoboticsCITS3241 which is pure theory. Taken by ThomasBraunl.
