Covers ArtificalNeuralNetworks, HopfieldNetworks, AssociativeMemory and related areas.
Notes are hand written photocopies that you need to attend the lectures to receive. In 2006 this was lectured as a two hour lecture once a week with a fortnightly tutorial. Laboratories are handed out but not assessed.
Content is challenging, especially if you don't have a strong calculus background, but the lectures may well put you to sleep.
There is an assignment that is worth 40% of the total mark. The assignment is split into 10 separate tasks based on the unit content. There are no tests.
