This unit appears to be a bunch of lectures in which ThomasBraunl firstly discusses just how cool robots are, and then proceeds to rehash a lot of content that you already learnt in some other unit. There are 6 laboratories. In 2007, the first 4 were reasonably simple individual projects: 2 involved programming the Eyebot, 1 was implementing quadtree subdivision, 1 was implementing Djikstra's algorithm. The 5th was a pair assignment in writing a simple robotic arm in OpenGL (it's easy enough to do by yourself). The 6th was amazingly involved, and required programming a much larger robot that was able to complete a course on the James Oval.
